Slow and steady (eventho my mouth runs away at times).Finally! I've opened my store on madeit. Truly! Fantastic website for all things Aussie handmade! As it's Aussie and the weather is heating up here, I'm thinking that I may put most of my summer kids clothing on madeit - it's coming into Winter in the Northern Hemisphere.My store is here and is OrigMischief.Unfortunately, only 15 letters were available for a store's name and Original Mischief has 16 but what the hey... it matches my twitter name! :)To celebrate, I'll be having another competition soon... something for the littlies made out of vintage terry cloth. There are no ifs, buts or ands... I can't take a photo for quids. No matter how or where I do it, they're dark, shadowed, washed out... you name it, it's in my photo :) I love the art of photography... the world is an amazing place - photos show me all the places on my wish list to travel to one day, other people's craftiness, moments in time...Anyway, here is my photo of a little girl's dress I made today. I've just joined a great Aussie site... Kids in Australia as in the next few days I'll be listing kiddies clothing and accessories in vintage (new old stock) fabrics.Kristin is marvellous and is intent on making sure that everyone knows the best places to buy this and that, to get information about a plethora of subjects... all for children!I've been busy today drafting patterns, sewing stuffies and generally running around like a chook with its head cut off all in the name of Original Mischief! Unfortunately, the corona virus that Spencer Cat passed away from (F.I.P.) was very infectious and Sox Cat (yes, they all have the same middle name) became very ill late last week and the Vet stated that she had caught the virus too.Feline Infectious Peritonitis (F.I.P.) is a viral disease that can affect many systems in the body of a cat. It is a progressive disease which is almost always fatal.Soxy became very ill, very quickly and was quietly put to sleep today.
