So go on and begin!Love Posted by Princess Sonshu at 4/09/2009 0 comments Twilight By Stephanie Meyer Twilight is the first book in Twilight saga, the love story written by Stephanie Meyer.I have always wanted to write a book review on this special book. Ever since i read it my mind has developed some sort of uncanny addiction towards it. I decided that my very first review on this blog should be that of my favorite and the most inspiring book.It was the plot of the story that caught on to me first and as i began Edward did! When i read the plot i was filled with questions. How will the relation between a blood thirsty vampire and a normal girl be? Will Edward be able to control the thirst? Will their relationship be like any other or will it have limitations? So t was my curiosity which took me to reading this.Isabella or Bella as she is called moves from a very sunny Phoenix to a rainy Forks to live with her father Charlie. The two places were extreme opposites and it was one thing she had to adapt to-the gloominess and quietness. Her mom travelled with Phil(her to be husband-fiance) as he was a baseball player. Bella made new friends on her first day of school. It was on her first day that she meets Edward- a mysterious, Greek god like creature. He turns out to be her Biology lab partner. He acts repulsively to her and his behavior annoys her. Edward suddenly disappears the next day or so and comes back later. After his return he seems to have improved his behavior. He introduces himself atleast. One day Bella is about to meet with an accident and Edward is standing miles across the road but he comes heroically on time to rescue her. In a flash he had come miles which takes Bella by surprise. She was astounded so she questions him as to what magic he did. He told her she was imagining things but she decides to look into it.After some days, in the beach Bella meets her friend Jacob. He tells her some legends and narrates some stories. He also tells her that the Cullen family are Vampires. She is shocked and soon Edward comes to know of this. After a while Bella and Edward realize that they are irrevocably in love with each other. Edward takes Bella to meet his parents and everything is smooth until the arrival of James, Laurent and Victoria. The rest of the book tells us about Bella's danger as James wanted her blood. It shows us that Bella and Edward had to seperate for a while due to her safety. Bella falls for James trap and is almost in danger when Edward comes and rescues her. The book ends at the prom with Bella's request and decision to become a vampire and Edwards refusal to it.This book is a must read for any reader. It is the loveliest novel and one of the best love stories i have ever read. So what are you waiting for guys? Go grab your copy of Twilight. Posted by Princess Sonshu at 4/09/2009 0 comments Labels: Books and Reviews No other Blog... Guys i am so sorry that i have deleted my other blog...Its very difficult to manage two blogs and after school re-opens it will be more difficult...So i decided that instead of two blogs i will have one and whenever i post a review i'll put it under the label Books so that when you want to read a review, just click label Books..and there you go...Really sorry...LovePrincess Sonshu Posted by Princess Sonshu at 4/09/2009 0 comments Servants... Servants are an important part of everyone's life and they help in doing all our jobs or atleast some of them. But hey! We want to do somethings ourselves, we too can work you see. So here are a list of things i don't want my servant to do, in other words- the things i prefer to do my self!1. My homework: I obviously would not want anyone else and especially my servant to do my homework. That is my work and it is only i who should do it. Also our handwritings won't match and i am very finicky about neatness...I am a neat freak so i guess thats one!2. Select Songs on my Ipod: I love to do this and i will do it in all means by myself. I cant have my servant go around selecting songs for my I pod because all the songs i hear are close to my heart and need to be chosen by me!3. Small Chores: If my mom asks me to do some small chore like washing the dishes or cleaning my room- i would do it myself because i have been assigned that duty due to my capability and i would not want to let my mom down. I will not put it on the servant just because they can do it.4. Blogging: Hahaha i love to blog my self so no chance of letting a servant anywhere near that.5. Sleeping: I will sleep for myself and she sleeps for herself. I want to have my own dreams and i ahve sleeping habits and i dont want a servant to do that job for me!6. Eating: I will eat myslef even though i don't like to eat because our choices of food dont match. She doesnt like Italian food nor does she adore the lovely bread and omlette which i love. So i want my body to be happy with what it gets so i will eat for myself! The list is too long and it goes on.Lovely prompt.....The one minute writer Posted by Princess Sonshu at 4/09/2009 2 comments Tuesday, April 7, 2009 Questions.... 1. How did you come up with your blog title OR what does it mean?Basically i wanted something catchy as my title so i choose Sneek-a-Peek into the mind of a teenager. It has just everything that it is difficult to handle it. Life throws across some very difficult situations to us and it is up to us as to how we handle it.Life is like a roller coaster ride and in fact it is the biggest one, a roller coaster which everyone has to sit in. There isn't a choice.Life is an examination, an examination for which we can or cannot be prepared. Sometimes it is so predictable and sometimes it is so surprising. We all even get marks for this examination like every other test. Here the marks are not in digits but it is in the form of how our life is. Whether we are happy in it or not.Faith or Luck doesnt exist. It is we whom are responsible for our fate. It is our mistake if something goes wrong and we should congratulate ourselves if we achieve or succeed. Everything we do in this job is because of us.Life is a game, a game we all play. It depends on who plays it the best and who wins it in the end. The winning does not earn you a medal or a trophy but it earns you a happy life!Life is everything- a ride, an examination, a game but most of all life is a JOB!Indeed Life is the hardest job in the world..... Posted by Princess Sonshu at 4/07/2009 0 comments Celebration... Celebration or celebrating doesn't actually require a cause. Does it? I think i can celebrate everyday due to the fact that i am living and i have come so far, undergone so many things. I tie my shoe lace, i brush my teeth, every tiny little thing gives me a reason to celebrate then why not celebrate when i have a reason to? I have a prominent reason to celebrate this lovely day...It is the beginning of my summer vacations, a time we all await in our school days.Yes today was the day i actually did nothing resourceful or nothing related to studies after 12 noon until which i had school. My life has changed since 12 noon, im no more sitting and doing homework, i am enjoying- singing, dancing, writing and blogging! I am doing everything but studying. I have holiday homework and projects but nothing will be touched until i enjoy first. I celebrated this special day in my own little way.I kept the volume of the speakers so high, that the woofers shouted Bang Bang Bang BangI danced on the floor so hard ,that the earth goddess shouted Boom Boom BoomI read my story books so intensely, that my mom shouted Hey Hey HeyI laughed out so loud, that my grandpa went Shh.. Shh.. Shh..I did all this so much ,that i went Enough Enough EnoughThat's how i celebrated the commencing of my Summer holidays. I indeed had a reason to celebrate.... Posted by Princess Sonshu at 4/07/2009 2 comments 3 things.. This is a random post for Heads or Tails....The theme for today is List three. So here are the three things randomly in my day today.-Today my holidays that is my summer vacations began and i sat around reading Nancy Drew's and Blogging all day. I also did useless stuff like chatting but did nothing resourceful. I made a list for what to do when i am bored and restless and how to kill time.-Today i came across a lovely song by Taylor Swift. It is called Love Story from her album Fearless. I love the song so much that i ended up listening to it about twenty times. I have this habit that once i fall in love with a song i hear it endlessly until i can sing it in my sleep. So currently Taylor Swift's Love Story tops my playlist.-I decided to do resourceful things during my summer holidays so i enrolled myself in some lovely dance classes since dancing has always been my passion, a strong one. Finally i did what i wanted and i'm joining some classes soon! Yaay! Posted by Princess Sonshu at 4/07/2009 6 comments Monday, April 6, 2009 Sleep...Yawn.... I was reading about sleep due to curiosity when i came across this article and decided to share it with you..I was shocked to see the amount of sleep we actually require but what are we getting? hahaha...So here it is!First of all here is a quick fact: According to the American Sleep Disorders Association, the average teenager needs around 9.5 hours of sleep per night, possibly because hormones that are critical to growth and are released during slumber.Yet studies show that teenagers generally get an average of only 7.4 hours a night. This is far short of the desired quota for healthy teens. In today's chaotic society many people are not aware of the importance of a proper sleep cycle. Most adults, due to their lack of time during the day, rely upon the night to complete majority of their tasks. This results in late nights and poor sleep habits. The amount of sleep that an average adult gets each night is around 5 hours. That is certainly not enough! So how much sleep do we really need? The average adult needs anywhere from 7 to 8 hours of sleep, whereas, the average teenager should be getting 9 hours. This almost never happens! And when we fail to get the proper amount of rest we are putting a strain on our health. We begin to lose focus, experience memory problems, succumb to depression, weaken our immunity, slow down our metabolism, and increase our stress levels. Clearly, getting an adequate amount of sleep is not a gimmick, it's a necessity. For those of you who have a hard time believing in the necessity of sleep, perhaps the following health study will change your mind. It certainly surprised me! A recent study revealed that people who are sleep deprived perform as poorly on hand-eye coordination activities as people who are intoxicated. Scary, isn't it? What this basically means is that a person who is sleep deprived has the same reflexes as a person who is intoxicated. So what does this say about their driving abilities? Since a sleep deprived person has the same reflexes as an intoxicated person, how much better can they perform behind the wheel? I would have to say about the same. So if you feel like getting a good night's sleep is just a gimmick, think of all of the ways that you are endangering your health and the health of others.
