Global millionare boom is hitting record heights nowadays, more and more millionaires with an asset of $1 million or more is increasing in number. According to the recent study of Boston Consulting Group , a global management consulting, about a third of the world's wealth are represented by the richest households around the globe. On top of its ranks, the leading country with the most millionaire households is the United States with nearly 4.6 million. Although the US is at the top rank, 2nd is Japan, 3rd is Britain, 4th Germany and the 5th China. China is said to be rising up really fast and may overtake the others anytime soon. The 6th country is Italy, 7th France, 8th Taiwan, 9th Switzerland, 10th Brazil, 11th Netherlands, 12th Belgium, 13th Australia, 14th Spain, and 15th Canada. According to Charles Derber, professor of sociology at Boston College and author of Corporation Nation, its about the phenomenon of the richer, getting richer and it says a lot about the wealth inequality around the globe. But sad to say though, this is the name of the game, the reality of what it is anywhere in the world. It is considered as a regular holiday. General Emilio Aguinaldo declared Philippine Independence on June 12, 1898, in Kawit, Cavite. The Declaration of Philippine Independence was read byAmbrosio Rianzares Bautista who had prepared it, patterned after the American Declaration of Independence. It was then signed by 98 persons, including an American military officer. The Philippine National Anthem composed by Julian Felipe was first played by a band on the same day. The words were written about a year later, in August 1899, byJose Palma . Also on June 12,1898, the Philippine flag was first formally unfurled. It had been made by Marcela Agoncillo with the help of Lorenza Agoncillo and Delfina Herboza. However, the actual liberation happened on July 4, 1946 but in the name of Nationalism and as advised by historians, June 12 was declared as the official Philippine Independence and July 4 as Republic Day and Philippine-American Friendship Day. Overall she is worth between $12 to $15 million per movie flick according to Hollywood Reporter, aside from being a talented actress, she is also one of the sexiest women alive, Thelma Adams says of the actress. Jolie's animated flick Kung Fu Panda knockedSex and the City out of first place this weekend , raking in $60 million. Her last filmBeowulf , which opened in November, was also No. 1 with $28 million in earnings. The pregnant-with-twins actress , who just turned 33 , hasn't always been box office gold. Her critically acclaimedA Mighty Heart earned a paltry $9 million domestically, and failed to garner her an Oscar nomination. Angelina has fascinated the media with how she is leading her life these days with Brad Pitt and the kids, she is indeed a triple score! I haven't heard of that until now. In Japan a black watermelon was sold for a price of $6, 100 dollars making it the most expensive watermelon ever sold in Japan. Apparently in Japan, melons are given as luxury item gifts so that's why they are so pricey. The black watermelon is a 17-pound, black-skinned "Densuke" watermelon, it is a variety only found and grown in the island of Hokkaido, in the northern part of Japan. It is said that the black watermelon with it's unusual black skin is unparalleled in taste.
