Posted by Sailaja Damodaran at 7:24 PM 6 comments Links to this post Labels: Tiffins Reactions: Chicken Lettuce Wraps Ingredients for the sauceSugar-1/2tspSoy sauce-3tspRice vinegar or plain vinegar-1tspTomato ketchup-1tbspLime juice-1tspSesame oil-1tspMustard paste-1/2tspRed chilly paste-2tspSalt & pepper to taste(Mix all above ingredients together in a bowl)Other ingredientsLettuce leaves-4 or 5Minced chicken-1 cupChopped onion-1/2Chopped garlic-5Ginger paste-1tspChopped spring onions-1 bunch (optional)Sesame oil-1tspMethodHeat oil in a pan fry onion,garlic,ginger & spring onions till light brown.Now in high flame fry the chicken for 2 minutes.Now add the sauce & fry it till cooked & dry.Cool it & place 2 tsp of the mixture in each lettuce leaves,roll & serve it immediately.Note:Vegetarians can replace chicken with minced soy chunks.You can also roll it in steamed cabbage leaves instead of lettuce .
