[ recent entries | profile | dailies | tagboard | affiliates ] Friday, 17 April 2009 PHYSICS = HELL! CURSE you PHYSICS! Why there should be a subject name PHYSICS in this world? It is one heck of hell with all the equations and theory and blah-blah-blah. Mark my words, I WILL NEVER EVER choose a degree or majoring in anything that consists the word 'PHYSICS' when the time for me to choose has come. Who wants to study that hellish subject anyway? Why I hate physics so much? Simple. I couldn't do today's test. It's the worst test I ever had in my life (okay, I'm exaggerating). But, it's not entirely my fault that I can't do it. Who's fault it is to arrange such a test together with MATHS test?! Are they crazy? Maths - with Physics in the same day? Do they have any idea how late I went to bed last night just to study ONE subject? So, when I received the paper from my teacher, I was like "WHAT THE *peeep*!"I just stared at that paper, feeling completely lost. I mean, I don't and I can't understand a bit of it !! What's worst, I can only do 1Q out of 12! Can you imagine how panic I am!? The marks of this test will be stored for our grade 12 mark! So, I really can't afford getting a RED mark. But, f*ck, I can't do anything! I'm hopeless - and desperate!................ (the clock keep ticking)At the last moment, like minutes before the bell rang, I managed to answer 7Q out of 10Q in the multiple choice and 1 essay question. It's not by miracle that I can do that, I tried some & CHEAT some! Well, It's the only way to save my marks! Got to do whatever it takes, right? So, thanks to my friends who kindly told me the answer of the essay - and even, some of the multiple choice. But frankly, I still think my mark is in danger . I'm not sure that all the answer that I got was right. Gah~, what should I do? I'm sooo not interesting in retaking the test!PS.school's out for a week baby, yeah! Time for fun!! 0 quipped (let's start again) Tuesday, 14 April 2009 A tale of Susan Boyle I know this video from my friend, Leon, who somehow get obsessed with this lady out of the blue and just now he's kinda like promoting about this lady and how he's so in love with her He even told us all to registered and gave a comment about her video and a site dedicated to this lady.Susan Boyle on Britain Got TalentSo, the lady's name is Susan Boyle and she's 47 (yes, it's 47!). Don't be shock now people, cause it's only the beginning. Well, you might find it funny that a 47 year old lady with her clumsy attitude and all tried her luck to audition in Britain Got Talent. And I know, you all will think "What the heck is this lady doing in a place like this?", what's more one of the judges is SIMON COWELL - the no-mercy-in-judging judge I ever met but yet, I admired this man. He's the one who found Il Divo. So, I know that his taste is so damn good! I have to admit it.Well, as you see, Simon got the same reaction as everyone else there and I bet that Simon had the same thought as I was (and everybody else) back there. But, we definitely can't judge the book by it's cover. This lady is SUPER-AMAZING when she sang "I dreamed a dream" from Les Miserables. It was fantastic and I was like where the heck did she go all this time? With that kind of amazing voice, she surely be flying high! You should see all the judges' and the audiences' faces - especially Simon. It was like he was speechless and he even smiled a 'wow-this-lady-is-so-good!' smile. Stunned. Not to mention the other to judges, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden, who look really... what? touched by her performance? The crowd as well, they turned from laughing, doubting, and even rolling her eyes (as seen in the video below) to roar of wow, clapping - even she 'moved' the crowd by raising them on their feet the moment she started to sing - and tears! And it is such a story;Susan Boyle, 47, single, never-been-kissed and lives only with her cat. As a child, she was a target of bullying because of her disability. She told how as a youngster she was ruthlessly mocked by other kids because being starved of oxygen at birth left her with learning difficulties.Spinster Susan - who has never had a boyfriend - said: "I was born with a disability and that made me a target for bullies. I was called names because of my fuzzy hair and because I struggled in class. I told the teachers, but because it was more verbal than physical I could never prove anything. But words often hurt more than cuts and bruises and the scars are still there."And now, looks who laughing? In a matter of day, she became famous within the nets and blog and gossips site. Her video watched by many people from different country. We really can't judge the book by it's cover. BRAVO SUSAN, you inspired many people! 0 quipped (let's start again) Sunday, 12 April 2009 Fast & Furious + Blue Bloods! I'm back people, miss me? Well, that's what happen when you've got a pretty long weekend and a mom who (somewhat) more hyperactive than her own child. You're definitely be kidnapped to go somewhere, to the mall at most.Anyway, first thing first. Last Friday, I watched Fast and Furious 4 at last! After a week of waiting and waiting for the right time to go to the cinema. I'd watched it!I like Fast and Furious, but I gotta say this, "I'm kinda disappointed this time." Compare to the other 3 before, I feel like there's something missing in this fourth movie; I don't know what it is - it's just something I can't explain. Maybe the lack of adrenaline-making-scene or the racing scene, I don't know. The racing didn't even enter the category of 'cool' for me - though the underground scene is cool (just a bit, because I feel the adrenaline rushed in my veins). And you know what, I don't even like the cars! Gah~ what's wrong with this fourth movie? (Paul Walker isn't as gorgeous as he was in the 1st movie, though Jordana Brewster is definitely pretty in the last scene!) So to say, there's nothing special in this Fast & Furious. I still prefer the first and the third one!Let's move to the second topic: BLUE BLOODS! So, at last, I finished reading this book (Masquerade only, I haven't bought the Blue Bloods & Revelation). Only a couple of hours and *bam* finished already. Got to say that this book is definitely addictive, I can't put it down once I read it. It made the Twilight completely nothing compare to this Blue Bloods saga.Somehow Twilight seems like another 'dark' love story compared to Blue Bloods. This books show more complicated (and not to mention more glamorous -OF COURSE!) vampire affairs and the plot moves so fast unlike Twilight which plot moves rather slow because of Bella this and Bella that - no offense Twilight fans, I'm just being honest. But, this book also has its own strange quality (I can't say whether it is good or bad) because in this book, the vampire can also spell some magic - and that's make me think, is this a vampire novel or a witch novel?Whatever, I still like this book! Two up for De La Cruz! And you know, I browsing in Youtube and I found fan-made Blue Bloods cast. I've got some that are pretty interesting but only for a few characters. So, I was thinking about making my own cast for Blue Bloods! It will be interesting I'll let you know when I'm done with it.P.S:So now, I'm somewhat obessed with vampire-mystical-thingy. Funny how things turn out, you know. After I finished hunting all 'Blue Bloods' saga book, I'll be hunting for 'House of Nights' series 0 quipped (let's start again) Thursday, 9 April 2009 A day with my mom So, there are some change of plan.Well, yesterday I was planning to go to either Emporium Pluit or Pluit Junction to watch Fast and Furious 4, but apparently I went to another place today - Grand Indonesia, which is good because it's been a long time since I last visited Grand Indonesia. My mom took me there for a walk and some lunch. We ended having lunch at Pizza Marzano and man, I'm soo damn-stuffed! My mom always ask me to finished up the last food, which in today's case, is a slice of Pizza! ( I already ate 3 slice of Pizza, and 2 Mushroom!) Gah~ That's what I hate about having lunch/dinner with my mom, she always and always and always ask me (or maybe order me) to finished up all the food and then, when we're at home, she told me not to eat too much! Man! Who's the one who told me to finished up all the food even though I was SO FULL??Geez! Anyway, after having some lunch, I (who can never resist a sight of bookstore) went straight to Kinokuniya Bookstore. At first, I search for a Sarah Dessen's book, but found none. *sigh* but to my surprise, I found De La Cruz's MASQUERADE (but found none of the first series - Blue Bloods). I even found the Luxe, Rumors and Envy Series! Gosh~! Why I have to be bankrupt at this hour? I also found a Japanese magazines which contain some articles about NEWS! Damn it, I really want those mags, but when I took a peek at its price, I was like , Rp. 126.000,- for just one mags? My mom would certainly and definitely kill me if I buy that. But, I didn't came out of that bookstore empty-handed, I managed to buy Masquerade & a German Dictionary(very important for my Kurz). After that, we went to Setiabudi One to watched Knowing, the sci-fi film with Nicolas Cage in it.It is one heck of COOL movie I ever saw. I would give a 4.5 for it! Why 4.5? Well, because there are some elements from this movie that I didn't like, which is the way Alex Proyas shoot it, sometimes the pics get blurry but other than that, everything is . The plot, the way they (Nicolas, Chandler, Lara, etc) act, the location, even the scores! I like them! I even cried at the scene when Caleb was about to take off and how Jon release his son. And at the very last scene, when Jon came home at last, to be with his family (mom, dad, sister) and doing some group hug before they (and the world) were being swept off by the solar flame. It was such a heartbreaking scene! Oh my At last, I'm having dinner with my mom at HayTien Restaurant, and she still asked me to finish off the food. MAN!Well, some extras:my style for today 0 quipped (let's start again) Wednesday, 8 April 2009 Finished with Season 2 (at last!) Alright, it's almost midnight and I was just finish watching Heroes season 2 and apparently I've only made it until Heroes Season 3, episode 1: The Second Coming. It's kinda freak you know, since I didn't stop watching ever since I got home from school. Well, that's explain why I gained weight so easily this couple of months . I've always been in front of the computer, all this time - doing, well, I don't know. Sometimes it's just browsing, sometimes it's blogging, and sometimes, just like this time; watching DVD endlessly. That's why my mom always mad at me. Whatever, anyway, HEROES is getting cooler and cooler! Though, the word 'best' was not the best word to portrayed the image of Season 2, but it is cool! I mean, how in the world they could create such an amazing story line? All of them was connected, and oh, what's more amazing was the portrayal of each and every characters in it. It's hard to recognized who's in the good side and who's in the bad side. It's like there are no border line between those two and it shows how human can be so... sly (if I'm using the right word). Besides, it's a lot of fun how they all can pictured emotions like that. Though I'm not really a great observer of how people act, but really, their acting was.... sugoi! (Anyway, I just known that Ando was actually a KOREAN! Never thought of that before. He look really convincing as a Japanese)Anyway, due to certain circumstances (and not to mention the time) I have to end this post here; it's late and somehow all my body aches and it's best to go bed by now. Oh, by the way, tomorrow school's out! Yeay! Why? Because tomorrow is ELECTION day. I'm not in the age in which I can vote in, but I don't really care about that. School's out baby! What more can I ask for?And maybe tomorrow I can go and watch (my long awaited) FAST and FURIOUS 4! Yippie... 0 quipped (let's start again) Friday, 17 April 2009 PHYSICS = HELL! CURSE you PHYSICS!
