20 Oct CPC-CM27, CPC-ST28, Fun in the Sun My blog is undergoing some super cool changes that you’re going to love, so please bear with me while I fine tune it. Christian Paper Crafts has also undergone some awesome revamping of the website and you’re going to really love that as well. Thank you for your patience during our construction. In the meantime, I participated in two of our challenges this week of Color Monday and Sketch Tuesday. Heather and Alisa rock and their creative imagination really excites all of us to see what they’ll come up with next! I had to pretty much CASE Heather’s card because it’s caught my eye for a while now and this was the perfect opportunity to make my card. Thank you for looking and have a very blessed day. Thank you always for your generous comments. They always make me smile. God’s best to you! NoCommentsPosted in Christian Paper Crafts 18 Oct CPS138, SSCC9, Christ is Born Happy Sunday. I hope that you’ve had a great weekend. Today I decided to make a card and participated in the Card Positioning Systems sketch challenge and the Stamping Sisters in Christ challenge where you had to depict the birth of Jesus on your card. I think it’s a lovely Christmas card. What do you think? I think that I’m going to start making more Christmas cards. This year has just flown by, but a lot of exciting new changes happened. You must come by Christian Paper Crafts tomorrow where a big, huge, gigantic, very cool announcement is going to be made. Don’t miss this! Here’s my card and the recipe is underneath the photograph. Have a blessed evening. Stamps: Papertrey Ink Silent Night Paper: Stampin’ Up! Basic Black, Write Stuff; Memorybox Spiceberry Ink: Stampin’ Up! Old Olive Accessories: Stampin’ Up! Old Olive organdy ribbon; flowers from Michael’s; Martha Stewart faux pearl PS: I forgot to turn the flower before I took the picture so it wouldn’t cover the word “day” partially. The kids have been home from school this week because of fall break and I’ve really gotten off my schedule and need to get back on it and soon too! I made this card for the Splitcoast Stampers Inspiration Challenge today. I haven’t participated in an inspiration challenge for a long time! My card was fairly simple to make. I started out with a Basic Grey base and layered Whisper White and American Crafts designer paper. I stamped my image onto PTI white paper with H&M Stamps Generations of Stitches and colored it with my Copic markers. I used my square and scalloped square Nestabilities to cut and dry emboss my image and the Pink Pirouette scallop square. I used 2 SU Fleurettes, one large pink and one small white with some American Crafts pink polka-dot ribbon and I don’t know what the technical term is called for what I did to the ribbon. I then adhered a metal block charm. Finally, I used faux Recollection pink pearls around the corners of my image and Making Memories black tiny alphabet letters. What do you think? Thank you for coming here to visit me and leaving your generous and kind comments. I really appreciate them. God bless your day. We used her stamp set, If the Halo Fits, by Stampin’ Up! to make our cards. We used SEI Windsor designer paper, watercolored, and machine stitched too. Bailey is a little glam gal so she went to town with the Stickles! Didn’t Bailey do a great job?! I’ll show you her card first and my card will be under it. Have a blessed evening and thank you for stopping by. I always feel so privileged to have you here. You can use food paper, food embellishments or food stamps, just as long as there’s food somewhere on your project. For those of you with little kids, this also includes food smeared. Like I mentioned yesterday, my awesome sketch is from our own Angella Crockett. This is a fun challenge, so let’s see what you can do with it. When uploading to the Christian Paper Crafts Gallery, please use keyword FOF26, and when uploading to your blog or other online galleries, please use keyword CPC-FOF26. There’s no time limit to play along. Thank you for looking and I hope that all of you have a very blessed day. God is good.
