Monday, July 13, 2009 Safer usage of cell phones.. hai friends,Now a days people are using cellular phones more than land line phones.The are research's going on the health hazards of cell phones.Here are some precautions while using cell phones:First, use a headset or speakerphone mode. That moves the phone (and it's antenna) away from your head.Second, consider reserving the use of mobile phones for shorter conversations or when a conventional phone is not available. Third, the effects of cellular damage are greatest on growing, developing organisms (i.e., the young), so limit children's use of cell phones!Finally, in a car, use an external antenna mounted outside the vehicle to move the source of the radiation farther from you! Posted by aswin at Monday, July 13, 2009 Reactions: 0 comments Labels: Health Saturday, July 4, 2009 About Tiruvannamalai.... hello everyone,Tiruvannamalai is 193km from chennai.Tiruvannamalai is a land of Siddhars and Yogis.There is a saying "நினைத்தாலே à®®ுக்தி தருà®®் தலம்" about Tiruvannamalai which means "If you think the Lord Arunachala at Tiruvannamalai you would go to heaven".Lord Murugan appeared before the famous poet Arunagirinathar at this place.Every full moon day (pournami) many devotees from all over the state come here for Girivalam(people used go Around the hill by walk).The Girivalam is about 16km.Many temples are there on the way.Whenever i go for Girivalam i would never miss to go to the Hanuman temple.The is some Divine power at Tiruvannamalai.Siddhar IdaiKadar is said to be in Jeeva Samathi at Tiruvannamalai.The hill at Tiruvannamalai itself is worshiped at Lord Shiva.Every year during the tamil month of Karthigai ,at the top of the hill a Karthigai Deepam( divine light in the form of fire) is set up.The Deepam would last for 10 day.Tiruvannamalai is the Agni stalam.The other pancha botha stalams are Sri Kalahasti, Tiruvanaikkaval, Chidambaram and Kanchipuram. I am currently trying to become a HAM.In India if you want to become a HAM you have to pass ASOC exam(an exam conducted by ministry communications).A HAM radio works even at times of natural disasters like flood,earth quake etc., it is the only technology which can be used at times of disater management. On the other hand it is a world wide hobby which can bring together different peoples and culturals.People can exchange data about thier lifestyle,culturals etc.We can make friends worldwide through HAM radio.Now-a-days HAM is integrated with internet so that even a person without a HAM equipment can communicate through internet(ecolink software),but u should have passed the ASOC exam. The day was the day before my cousin's marriage. Morning i went to the tailor shop and asked for my marriage shirt and phants. He said it would be ready by evening. Then i went to marriage hall. I was there to help them for marriage.I went to shops and bought wat ever things neccessary for marriage.I did'nt had my breakfast. I was busy roaming with relatives in bike, to buy wat ever needed for marriage.I phoned the tailor thrice,he said it would be ready by 6 p.m.I went to the tailor shop at 3:30 p.m. He said that the shirt would be ready by 6 p.m. then i went to marriage hall and returned back to tailor shop at 5:30 p.m.After going there i went to garment shop to buy materials for marriage. Then Sharply at 6 p.m i was there again sat at tailor shop waiting to get my shirt and phant. I sat there till 7:30 pm to get my shirt and phant. My dad was much frustrated for not getting the shirts at time. I phoned him asking him wat should i do now? he said to come to the marriage hall. Then i went to marriage hall,all my relatives were dressed in new dress i was the only guy to were untidy dress. My dad shouted for not wearing proper dress and also for not shaving. I was tensed by his words , i do no wat to do i went to a corner left my slippers at a place. My inner mind was killing me why i did so for not doing things right. I then came out of the marriage hall without slippers, i went out without slippers through another way of marriage hall. I went by walk through the roadside. I saw my cousin's uncle. He asked me why i was not there at marriage. I said that dad scold me for not wearing new dress. Then i went to next bus stoping waiting for bus.A share auto was there repair with "Fault". The driver said that the auto is in "Halt". My dad then called me through cell and asked me "why u said others abt the scolding". Then he said to come back. I took a tempo to the town and went to ATM took some money. I bought a new pair of slippers. Went back through the back entrance.I saw my mom there she told me to come along with her to home it was around 10:30 p.m. I went home with my mom to home.I dont forget this day the lesson i learnt from this is ,"To be planed for any thing and everything" and "Do your duty first and then do others work".plz post ur comments on this incident...
