I've set my date to finish work so i can start my maternity leave, I'll be finishing on the 20th March. That is 8weeks away!!! I cannot believe it is that close!! I'll be finishing when i am 33weeks pregnant so i can have some time to relax and get things ready for my baby when he arrives.I've also got to start thinking about what i will need for my home birth. I've got a few ideas but I've not decided on getting a pool yet. I know how fussy i can be with the temperature of bath water so i am worried that i may become very fussy with the temperature of the pool.I also need to decide what I'm going to do with the house, it is still on the market and not going anywhere fast. I am going to decorate 4yr old and 3year old's bedroom because it needs freshening up (in case we are going to be here longer than we thought.) I am also going to transform our 'under the stairs' area into a mini office area. With some stools (I've already made a breakfast bar to fit in the corner), shelving and some lights for a nice private work area for either me, hubby or the girls when they need to do some homework. And in our bedroom I think i will put some red wallpaper on the chimney breast to make it a bit more interesting (at the moment it is just plain white).After all the decorating we are going to change estate agents and give the sale one more go, if we get no where then i will think about getting the loft converted for more space for the children.But for now I will let these plans hang in the air whilst i sit back and look forward to the birth of my baby. I've not spent a lot of time thinking about the birth or what nice things i want to buy him, so i am going to put my feet up and indulge in a bit of baby daydreaming.Have a nice weekend xxx
