Dear Readers,I am currently reviewing my options for this blog. It seems I have exhausted (for now) my source material. Translation: I cannot recall additional events from the past with sufficient clarity that I can can write about without substantially fictionalizing it (always a temptation). Since December, I have penned more than 90 autobiographical essays--a substantial number, I think. But it may be time for an extended hiatus from that material.I'm considering several options, including writing essays about present society and my life -- or beginning a fiction project, publishing online as I go. It would open the work to my loyal readers and allow me to turn my energy toward a creative effort I've been longing to begin, but at the same time carries a huge risk of tossing up some messy prose. Like this.I'm considering a collaboration project, too.I'd love to hear from you, either as comments below, or by email. I'll keep the blog and url...but am considering a departure from my past....if that's ever possible. And if you have some history with me, maybe you can think of something to jar my memories. Thanks to so many of you who have helped me stay here in my chair in the early morning, well before the clamor of life begins.Special love and thanks to my sister for her support over so many years. I damned oughta put her in this collection, too, even if I retire it. I got some stories about her. Yeah. She's in the photo (click on it for a bigger view). We were lucky to get Springsteen's autograph before a recent show. I'm lucky. Recovery, Linda, Bruce, HH, my new and old friends who read or never read this page.
