Save money and water by making your toilet low-flow. Newer models use a maximum of 1.6 gallons per flush while older models use anywhere from 3.5 to 7. But you don’t have to switch your toilets to newer models just to save up on water costs. Just fill a plastic bottle with water, cap it, and then put it in a corner of the tank, where it will decrease the water needed per flush.
