I did more work on my chair. I added lot's of bits of color - utilizing my trusty credit card for spreading - and then after the paint dried - I jumped right into the three step sanding process of rough, medium and fine. Damp clothed the dust off and then a fine coat of Krylon Fixative. Now I'm ready for more color and working toward the design.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_n1d3EUyG3tM/SBOVQ6Ox7CI/AAAAAAAABeo/9u-Ehs7TvoY/s320/chair1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5193658913030007842" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_n1d3EUyG3tM/SBOVRaOx7DI/AAAAAAAABew/E03WKxzlsaQ/s320/chair2.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5193658921619942450" />

Next step was the metallic gold. I painted and then sponge blended it into the colors and then let it dry. When that was finished - I repeated the three step sanding process again and then damp clothed clean. Finally, another Krylon Workable Fixative finish. Almost ready for DESIGN!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_n1d3EUyG3tM/SBOp_aOx7FI/AAAAAAAABfA/vdYTxiAQzCg/s320/gloss1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5193681702126480466" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_n1d3EUyG3tM/SBOp_6Ox7GI/AAAAAAAABfI/QQxNxukgRK0/s320/gloss2.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5193681710716415074" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_n1d3EUyG3tM/SBOqAKOx7HI/AAAAAAAABfQ/B5CihciwyQ0/s320/gloss3.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5193681715011382386" />

And here's my lazy squirrel "Buddy" - whom some of you remember from earlier posts. Excuse the spotted glass as I took it from my living room looking out. Time to spring clean those windows! Buddy is mad because we are making him go to the back yard for his food now that it is warmer. In the winter he would eat on the main picture window ledge and it was easy for us to see him when he would arrive. Now he has to go to the back and jump on the central air conditioning unit and tap at the kitchen window. Sheesh. Talk about a spoiled beast.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_n1d3EUyG3tM/SBOXhaOx7EI/AAAAAAAABe4/hBnTw_QI-Ow/s320/buddy.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5193661395521104962" />

mcdc3snoreply@blogger.com
