A few of you have asked what Refocksa stands for. Even Hottie has asked. After I sat and thought about it, with input from Becca and Rocket Girl, we've come up with this chain of events.Rocket blogged about starting a group for those of us who had become close via our blogs. All of us agreed. Rocket wanted to make our group a logo, however, we needed a group name.Rocket gathered a list of verification words aka captcha words ... you know, that annoying step some bloggers ask you to do when posting a comment ... and based on the gathered list of words, we voted.Refocksa won by a landslide.From there Rocket created our logo, the one seen on this blog, and many other blogs.With our name and logo in place it was Amy who suggested having a Refocksa meet, greet, and party in San Diego.Refocksa has become a family. A strong family.
