A great little cafe bakery called Baker & Spice gave me this little treat. They must have read my mind because I wanted to take it home for breakfast the next day, and they had the bag ready! This beautiful and buttery cream cheese rhubarb tart was so supremely delicious that I lack the words to describe it. Fortunately they are located right around the corner from my favorite farmers market, so you know where I will be on Sunday mornings!Another fabulous treat was from Ruby Jewel. All natural homemade ice cream sandwiches, the brain child of Lisa ("the creator"), I have been looking forward to trying these for a long time, and I was not disappointed! Moist and delicious ginger cookies sandwiches around pumpkin ice cream and I was in heaven. If you can find them in your area you have to treat yourself! I can't wait to try the rest of the flavors. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture because it was ice cream and it was good. I just couldn't wait! This is my final post on this years Share Our Strength's Taste of the Nation. It was truly a remarkable and delicious experience and one not to be missed. Thanks for reading and (hopefully) salivating along with me. I have really enjoyed your comments on the food! I think next year we need to go as a group, so if you are a Portland blogger mark your calendars now! Enjoy!
