President Obama,Thank you for taking the first steps toward closing the Guantanamo detention facilities and ending the military commissions. Your order declaring a 120-day suspension of the trials at Guantanamo shows this country and the world that America will once again hold sacred the rights of all humans. Thank you for taking action on your first day in office. Thank you for beginning to free America from the human rights abuses and the stigmas of the Bush era.
