My babies turned five this weekend. FIVE!!They were just born. They still let me snuggle them and bite their cute little toes, but they also like to watch iCarly and put on "nake-up". They wander around the house listening to their playlists on my iPod and no longer want to be called Fashion Girl and Barbie Princess. Now it's Lilly and Natasha. Such sophistication. And when I ask them if they want to read the story about the "unihorn" they correct me with great enunciation..."mom, it's uniCORN." Thank goodness we still hear the "boice" of God in the back seat of the van sometimes. As a mother grieving the last vestiges of babyhood, I'd be lost without it.
